This journal was created from my own experience navigating fibroids, healing, and trying to find myself again in the middle of it all. What I learned is that this journey is not just physical. It asks you to slow down, to listen, and to meet yourself in ways you may have never had to before.
These pages are not here to rush your healing or force you into positivity before you're ready. They are here to hold space for you. To give you somewhere to release, to reflect, to be honest, without judgment. You don't have to filter yourself here. You don't have to perform strength here.

Every city on this tour was chosen because of the women in it. Black women navigating fibroids, navigating silence, navigating a medical system that was not built with them in mind.
Courtney will be bringing the journal to life through conversation, community, and the prompts that cracked something open for women across the country.
Detroit is where it starts. It is where Courtney's roots are, in Cass Tech, Belle Isle, the city that raised her. This first stop is personal. It is a homecoming in the most literal sense, and the women in that room will be the first to experience The Journey Back Home as a live gathering.
